It seems like these days no application or device can escape integration with social media. Fortunately, for Office users, Outlook is no exception. I’ve also been looking into creating my own social provider and Microsoft provides the APIs to do it. They also provide some good help resources. There’s the provider help on MSDN and this informative article (also on MSDN).
